Edward Harris

Edward is passionate about helping others to make them "fishers of people [men]", right where they are in life.  While an undergraduate in college, he put Jesus Christ's teachings into motion in his life by working alongside homeless families  in the Sacramento area to build homes, while a member of the Habitat for Humanity Site Selection Committee.

After earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering and relocating to Southern California.  Edward helped to feed and provide for the needs of homeless men and women in downtown Los Angeles (Pedro and 6th St), while evangelizing through reading the Word of God and sharing the Gospel as a member of a street ministry organized through members of Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley.

In 2008 Edward relocated his family to Oregon, as part of a church plant.  His family served multiple churches by feeding members through serving meals and teaching the Word of God from the Holy Bible.

Edward continues to serve as a mentor at his work and a High School varsity football coach in his community.  He enjoys seeing the spiritual growth and development of young people and students as they mature and realize their purpose and calling from God.

Now, he is excited to be a part of the Teach Tamagalie family and board to help educate and share the love of Christ with the people of Tamagalie and surrounding villages within the nation of area in Sierra Leone Africa.
